Abstract. The casing corrosion problem in Changqing Oil Region has long troubled oilfifield development which caused a serious loss of production capacity. For a large number of corroded perforated wells, the accurate identi- fification of the water outlet has always been a key technical problem in the process of casing damaged well management. In order to solve this technical problem, this paper presents a method of visualizing logging with nitrogen gas lift negative pressure to locate the water outlet point of casing damaged wells.
